Prosecutors have declined to pursue the death penalty in Michael Davis's murder trial for the death of Jamea Harris. The Birmingham mother was shot and killed near The Strip in Tuscaloosa in Jan. 2023 Davis is scheduled to go to trial on May 5 on capital murder charges. Former University of Alabama basketball player Darius Miles is also charged in this case. No trial date is set for Miles.
