Sacramento ✅ Made a quick stop to check out Sutter Health Park, the new home of the (Sacramento?) Athletics! I had very low expectations coming into this trip, and honestly it’s worse than I thought. The ballpark itself is fine for its intended purpose (Minor League Baseball), but regular season Major League games should NOT be played here. As upset as I have been for Athletics fans, that’s not even playing into my opinion, this just isn’t an MLB facility. It’s pretty sad that this will be the team’s home for the next 3 years, and who knows exactly what will happen after that. On top of that, this was not even close to a sellout crowd, which just a few games into the season shows that this might get really rough in years 2 and 3. Of the fans that were there, very few were actually A’s fans, most were just casual fans coming to check out Major League Baseball in their city. Can’t blame A’s fans for not continuing to support this franchise, it’s super sad to see how this has all played ...
