Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko has admitted that Ukraine might have to “give up territory” on a strictly temporary basis to end the war with Russia. He called the idea “not fair” but suggested it could deliver a cease-fire, adding that Ukrainians would “never accept occupation.”
Klitschko also warned President Volodymyr Zelenskiy may face a “painful solution” to secure peace. His comments follow the year’s largest Russian missile-and-drone strike on Kyiv, which killed at least 12 people and wounded dozens.
