In honor of Arbor Day, UMass Lowell is planting 15 trees along Wilder Street and six in the nearby university food forest. The 21 trees were donated by the Lowell Parks and Conservation Trust. UMass Lowell is a certified arboretum through ArbNet and a designated Tree Campus through the Arbor Day Foundation. There are more than 1,700 trees on UMass Lowell’s three campuses. #arborday #arboretum #uml #umass
