Our focus this year, “Navigating The Way Back Home,” is all about showcasing how we can all play a role in creating a supportive environment for those rejoining the community post incarceration. During the breakfast, Peer Support Specialists and justice-impacted individuals shared their own stories. Their wisdom and the challenges they've overcome shed light on the issues faced upon reentry for many individuals and their families. To those who joined us, we hope you now have a better understanding of the hurdles faced during reentry, and steps to overcome those hurdles. Together, we can create a community that not only provides support but also actively works on initiatives to prevent reoffending.
