Today’s Yom HaShoah ceremony for our 3rd - 12th graders was very powerful. Our upper and lower division students led the beginning of the program with meaningful words and heartfelt prayers, and then Holocaust survivor, Celie Halzel told her story to everyone. Today, we remember. We will never forget the atrocities of the Holocaust, and we will never let it happen again. Celie emphasized to our students how important it is to remain strong and hopeful for a better and brighter future. #denverjds #yomhashoah
