An emergency C-section was never my birth plan, but it was what brought my lil baby Everest into this world safely, and for that, I’m endlessly grateful. I really truly can only say that God is SOOO GOOD and he had a plan through it all. April is C-Section Awareness Month, and it’s a reminder that this is a real birth, a major surgery, and an emotional journey. The scar I carry is more than physical.
