It's migration season for Magellanic penguins! These penguins typically mate for life and return to the same nesting site each breeding season, which runs from September to mid-April. We saw these penguins nesting at Península Valdés in Argentina. Soon, the Magellanic penguins will migrate north for the winter, to warmer climates in Peru and Brazil.
