THE ART AND THE ARTIST 🎨 We’re beyond happy to reveal our new Youth Sports Weekend poster, designed by local artist Drew Carlile! Drew is a senior at Oregon State University studying Design Innovation Management. Currently a graphic design intern with beaverathletics, where he assists in creating engaging visual content that enhances the the Beaver Athletics brand. “I hope when people see this poster, they get that scrappy, DIY energy—like someone threw it together with whatever was lying around, but somehow it just works. The paper rips and duct tape give it a kind of real, hands-on feel. It’s not polished on purpose—it’s creative, a little chaotic. Hopefully, it reminds people that making something cool doesn’t have to be perfect—it just has to have heart.“ When asked what advice he would give young creatives, here’s what he said: “Have fun with it.
