BMW has long supported customer-led racing efforts, and now it’s time to meet the next chapter: the brand-new BMW M2 Racing! Building on a legacy of models like the BMW M235i Racing, M240i Racing, and M2 CS Racing, the new M2 Racing pushes performance even further with a host of racetrack-ready improvements.
Under the hood, the M2 Racing features a B48 turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 313 horsepower and 420 Nm of torque, paired with a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission sending power to the rear wheels. BMW didn’t just stop at speed — they borrowed cooling tech from the S58 engine, added a GT4-derived exhaust system, and toughened up the exterior with closed grilles and custom wheels.
