During this #NIAW I want to recognize all of those who had the perfect vision for what their birth story would look like and ended up with something completely different. Infertility is messy, it rarely goes how you imagined. There are setbacks, heartbreaks, and so many unknowns. I struggled knowing I wasn’t going to get to carry our daughter, I was heartbroken, jealous and for awhile I wouldn’t accept it. But when you release the vision of how it should look, you make space for what could be.
