🐾 Meet Brian Wilford, one of our Race Coordinators at Destination Trail, working closely with volunteers, medical teams, and local organizations to help our events run smoothly. He hires lead medics and HQ crew, assigns volunteers to aid stations and key roles, and builds strong connections with nonprofits to give back to the community. Brian, 61, is a Tucson, Arizona native who ran his first marathon in 2001 and spent 30 years serving as a firefighter, retiring as a Battalion Chief. Now he brings that same heart and dedication to our races, helping runners feel supported from start to finish. Brian and his wife Theresa, married 35 years, raised three amazing kids: Briana, Emma, and Kyle, who all volunteered at the Arizona Monster 300. Service and community run deep in their family. Since 2018, Brian and Theresa have lived full-time in their RV, traveling with a very special pack: rescued senior dogs through Frosted Faces Foundation.
