The Hannah Knight Award and Scholarship honors a player who embodies passion, leadership, and a commitment to growing the game of women’s hockey. Named after Hannah Knight, founder of the UGA Women’s Hockey team, this award celebrates those who lead by example both on and off the ice. This year, we proudly recognize Katherine Davis—a founding member of the team. Despite picking up hockey just three years ago, Katherine has been a relentless force on the ice and an inspiring leader off it. As a three-time Vice President of Finance and Assistant Captain, she’s shaped the foundation of our program and mentored younger players.
