We were delighted to welcome 2020 Head Prefect, Vernon Matongo, back to Northwood to address his grade 8s of 2020 - now in matric writing their final exams! Many of the boys remembered Vernon for the letters and messages of encouragement he shared with them, his "Blue Army" during a year of Covid and hard lockdowns. Today was a full circle moment as he shared the experiences that have shaped him since then, offering encouragement and advice for our young Knights. It was also fitting that he was there to present 2024 Head Prefect, Vuyo Gwiji, with his newly framed Springbok jersey, and Siyanda Nkosi with his framed Commonwealth Games medal, both gifted to Northwood, and which will now be hung in our school with pride. 🔵⚪️ #Knights #classof2024 #classof2020
