Northwood is excited to introduce our new Director of Basketball, Mr Douglas Nedab. Mr Nedab hails from Washington, D.C., USA, where sport has been instrumental to his personal development and career progression, having coached high school basketball and working in management of university sports for over 10 years. Mr Nedab brings a wealth of experience, including working with the National Basketball Association’s (NBA) Washington Wizards ownership group, Monumental Sports & Entertainment, and currently with PeacePlayers International South Africa - utilizing basketball as a tool to facilitate life skills and bridge social divides through events and tournaments. Most recently, he was selected for the KZN Marlins Basketball Club in South Africa's Basketball National League. Mr Nedab attended Old Dominion University where he studied Business Analytics and Management, and Georgetown University where he received his Master’s of Professional Studies in Sports Industry Management.
