For the first time in officialwrc history, a rally winning crew received FIA President’s Medals following Rally Islas Canarias. Kalle Rovanperä and Jonne Halttunen were awarded personal keepsakes, envisioned by FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem as a lasting symbol of their achievement, which they received during the podium celebrations.
