Star Trek: Picard - Propaganda Posters — This campaign features six drafts of propaganda posters designed to immerse audiences in the narrative of Star Trek: #Picard. Tasked with visualizing a #dystopian enforcement of a ban on androids, I drew inspiration from Eastern European Cold War and Soviet-era artwork of the 20th century. In the show, the ban is prompted by a catastrophic incident on Mars, where the android worker F8, manipulated by an unknown force, disables the planet’s defense systems and initiates a devastating attack, killing thousands. These posters reflect the Federation’s reactionary stance, blending retro-futuristic #propaganda aesthetics with themes of fear and control. The result was one of the rare instances in my career that the stakeholders liked every option, without any notes, and had trouble choosing just one.
