Boston Marathon Race Recap, Part 2: I was feeling on top of the world before the weekend started. Meeting and talking with all of the other participants and spectators shot me straight to the moon. 🚀🌙 Seeing the wonderment in the eyes of first-time Boston Marathon runners. ✨ Strategizing with multi-time competitors. 📝 Taking in the sights, sounds, and the legacy that have graced these hallowed running grounds. 🙏 The love and respect everyone has for this event is a tribute to the lost toenails, the early mornings, the endless internal demons endured to achieve partaking in such a momentous affair. That is what I kept thinking about walking to the start line: not only how hard I, myself, worked to get here, but how honored I am to be leading a race that so many people have sacrificed their time, energy, and sanity for.
