If that region suffered an impairment, customers had to wait for recovery or build manual processes to keep warmed-up IPs ready in another region and reconfigure their jobs accordingly. With the launch of SES Global Endpoints, customers now benefit from two fully active regions for every sending job, and automated load balancing between them if anything goes wrong.
