Junior Joy! Thanks to Gerry Kripps for capturing these fantastic, intense, and joy filled pictures at our Junior Wheelchair Rugby Camp earlier this month at the richmondoval! We’re grateful for the support of the Government Of BC, viasportbc, disabilityalliancebc, and ctjumpstart that helped make this camp a reality and to all of the dedicated volunteers and mentors who gave them time and expertise to help these young athletes have fun, connect with peers and learn more about their sport! Our free Junior Wheelchair Rugby programs run through the end of June in Richmond (Saturdays at richmondoval ) and Victoria (Sundays at pise_play ). Led by mentor coaches and athletes with disabilities, these programs are open to new athletes and/or volunteers and focus on physical literacy, mentorship and fun.
