Happy Veterans Day! Thank you to all the men and women, past and present, that have served their country. The Newport Gulls are beyond appreciative of the sacrifices made to protect this great country. Each season, the Gulls present Military Appreciation Night in order to pay respects to all of these individuals. In 2022, the Gulls were fortunate to be joined by the two oldest war veterans in Rhode Island. Arthur Medeiros turned 102 in May and 98 year old Joseph Licker both served in the Battle of the Bulge during World War II.
