When I’ve hit with Rich, the term “snap it” doesn’t really help me. The rearward propulsion of the bat doesn’t help me.
What does help me is “Ferris Wheel to 2nd Baseman” and
“Ready at Release”
It mostly all means the same thing.
Focusing on different parts of the same puzzle, using different words and phrases for an athlete to get what you’re saying.
Everyone has an opinion on Rich, but as one of the few people who have actually met him and worked him... he lives and breathes hitting. He still hits every day at almost 70 years old. He’s not a scammer, you can tell he wholeheartedly believes he’s found something that he wants to share with the baseball world. I’ve said this before but in 10, 20 years this is going to be mainstream teaching. Hitting has been taught basically 1 way for the entire existence of baseball.
New ideas and new ways of teachings aren’t usually met with open arms
