Of all the people that I’ve seen disagree on the effectiveness of what Rich teaches, the one I’ll never understand is the “judge doesn’t work with teacherman” , “judge doesn’t really swing like that” comments. It’s so obvious what his feels are... His mic’d up cage session with Harold Reynolds on MLB Network, his interview with Mookie, the many videos I’ve seen directly from Rich’s phone… judge is 100% bought in and actively works on teacherman principles It’s not proof that it’s the “best” way to hit… but definitely is a way to hit. The amount of hitters it would help if more people were open minded and willing to try. It’s really not different than going to any other hitting coach. You’re gonna click with some and not with others. Either the coach gave you something you found useful or they didn’t.
