Using the terminology of “tilt” seems to create more confusion around what the actually move is. It made me confused initially, but I think if you can look at it as it relates to posture, it makes more sense. You can’t tilt out of a tall and unengaged position.. you’ll spin and don’t even really have anything to tilt out of. It only applies if you’ve got your posture over the plate while holding some tension. With the right posture the tilt takes you to the ball. The main reminder is that you don’t push forward, but whip from behind.
