I took an unconventional path, going from being my high school’s salutatorian to finishing community college in one year. Now I am about to graduate from JSU with a 4.0 GPA a year early. I never imagined that a kid from Jackson, Mississippi, could make it to Wall Street so soon, but here I am: I became the first JSU student selected for S&P Global’s CREDit Ratings Program, which is part of their credit division. After completing the internship, I was offered a full-time role and will return to New York this fall as a credit ratings analyst.
