Congratulations to Cheryl Lunnen, regional vice president, MedStar Heart & Vascular Institute, who was named the 2025 Woman of Impact for the Greater Maryland chapter of the American Heart Association (marylandaha)! Cheryl was among nine women nominated to participate in the annual nine-week campaign, where she raised awareness and funds for women’s heart health and stroke. Cheryl and her team raised $47,404, which puts her in the top 5% of nominees in the country! In total, the nine nominees for Woman of Impact raised $107,662. This designation is a further testament to Cheryl’s commitment to cardiovascular health, and we are #MedStarHealthProud that she is one of ours!
