CELEBRATING CREATIVITY: During Fine Arts Week, the various academy majors all showcase their discipline during lunchtime performances or demonstrations. Sophomores Elodie Bollich and Paityn Jones, both leads in this year’s spring musical “Freaky Friday,” decided to jump back into character on Tuesday and reenact one of the musical’s songs.
“I played Katherine Blake in the previous musical and was so excited to perform again as her,” Bollich said.
Bollich felt that performing at lunch allowed students and faculty to get a glimpse of the theater program and the talent within it.
“Paityn and I wanted to give everyone a chance to see what theatre at McCallum looks like and a glimpse of how we perform,” Bollich said.
Fine Arts Week gives students a chance to share their talent to the larger campus. Bollich believes that this is a great way to have fun and explore the various fine art communities.
