York County District Attorney Tim Barker held a news conference on Wednesday with the findings of the investigation into the Feb. 22nd shooting at UPMC Memorial Hospital that killed Officer Andrew Duarte. District Attorney Barker announced that Officer Duarte was shot by friendly fire. The gunman, Diogenes Archangel-Ortiz, was shot and killed after taking hostages at the hospital. Two other officers and three medical staff were also wounded.
