It's gonna be May 💥
We have a new month of skywatching ahead of us! On May 6, catch the peak of the Eta Aquarid meteor shower early this morning, or spy a few shooting stars two or three nights before the peak event.
Check out a few of our neighboring planets all month long:
Venus: Appears bright and low in the east in the hour before sunrise.
Mars: Easy to find in the west in the first few hours of the night.
Jupiter: Shines brightly in the west all month
Saturn: Begins the month next to Venus, low in the eastern sky before sunrise. Quickly separates from Saturn and rises higher in the sky each day before dawn.
