While patrolling the unincorporated area of Monrovia, a Temple Station training officer and a training deputy conducted a legal pedestrian stop. During their investigation they recovered a controlled substance from the pedestrian, a violation of 11377(a) HS. The Temple Station deputies transported the suspect to Temple Station Jail and booked him with the approval of the Temple Station Watch Sergeant.
