The gaelicplayers have released a position paper on the issue of skorts in camogie and they have set out their recommendations for the future saying that players should have the choice to wear skorts or shorts and that "player welfare should be prioritised over established norms and traditions in decision making." 70% of respondents (from 650 intercounty players) reported discomfort when wearing skorts and 65% were concerned about exposure in media content. #RightToChoose
