In honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, we’re proud to celebrate the voices, talents, and contributions of our AAPI community at Joffrey Ballet School.⁠ ⁠ Throughout May, we’ll be sharing a series of features across our social media platforms, highlighting past and present faculty, choreographers, and artists through archived photos and videos.⁠ ⁠ We begin today with Tsai Hsi Hung tsaihsihung — a powerful force in contemporary dance and a valued choreographer of both the Joffrey Concert Group joffreyconcertgroup and our NYC Jazz & Contemporary Trainee Program.⁠ ⁠ Tsai Hsi Hung, a graduate of Taipei National University of the Arts, has an extensive international dance career, including exchange studies at Queensland University of Technology and collaborations with companies such as Australian Dance Theater and Chunky Move.
