MU College of Engineering seniors are honored for their work every year at a knighting ceremony. When their name is called, students kneel before a person acting as St. Patrick, where they are then tapped on the shoulder with a staff and instructed to kiss the Blarney Stone that sits in front of them. “It’s our oldest tradition, so we’re really proud that it’s still running,” Ethan Anderson, MU senior and the event’s Knight of St. Patrick, said.
