Accused murderer Luigi Mangione is now the subject of Luigi: The Musical, a new production debuting next month at San Francisco’s Taylor Street Theater. Described as a ‘wildly irreverent, razor-sharp comedy,’ the show reimagines Mangione as a corporate assassin turned folk hero, drawing clear inspiration from Chicago—which debuted 99 years ago and was based on real-life accused killer Beulah Annan.
