Hey yinz — we gotta thank you for what’s been an incredible year! Our final show of 2024 is now in the books, and we’re reflecting on everything we’ve done over the past year. We presented 23 shows featuring 100+ films, including our first-ever film handling workshop — a chance to teach others the rapidly disappearing art of film handling and projection. We’ve begun the work of preserving a whole new slate of films by local makers, which you’ll hear about soon in a new Kickstarter campaign. 👀 But we can’t do it without you. Once we add up the costs of venue rental, refreshments, equipment, print shipping and handling, rights, etc., etc., well… film is expensive! We have big plans for the upcoming year, but we need a little help to make them happen. We’re hoping to raise $1,750 by the end of December.
