I’m a BIG fan of train travel. I love it so much that some of my most treasured travel memories start or end with a train ride in Ireland, Germany, France, up to Montreal from NYC, & more. So when amtrak offered to host us in BUSINESS CLASS out of LA on the PacificSurfliner to ShareSLO for a stay thehotelslo, I said yes SO fast! And let me tell you that while train service in the USA is generally still behind the level of service of trains in other parts of the world, like Europe and Asia - that’s not shade, that’s just fact - I was still super impressed by Business Class on ‘the Surfliner!!  On the way up in the morning, the scenery of coastal California that’s visible from private lands the train has access to did what it does best: left me speechless.
