Morgan Parfaite is State-bound in THREE events after Saturday’s State Sectionals! Morgan placed first in the 200-meter dash, second in the 100-meter dash, and fourth in the 400-meter dash. The top four finishers advance to state, so she’ll compete in all three events next weekend! These are notoriously competitive events, and we are so proud of this Raider! At Saturday’s meet, Morgan set personal records of 11.64 in the 100-meter dash and 23.87 in the 200-meter dash. She also broke her own school record in the 100-meter dash and added the 200-meter dash to her list of records broken. So, she now holds Riverwood Athletics School records in the 100m, 200m, AND 400m! Our Athletic Director, Matt Taylor, summed it up perfectly when he said, “Morgan really is the most entertaining 10 seconds in Riverwood Athletics!
