Black dandyism is on display at the Met Gala. The 2025 Met Gala’s theme is “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.” The night is spotlighting Black dandyism, which reaches at least as far back as the Harlem Renaissance from 1918 to the mid-1930s style.
