🌼🌷🌸Come with me to my first floral arranging class and everything j learned. We used: Peonies from Holland, garden roses, French lilac, sweet peas, spray roses, carnations, yarrow… it was a romantic flower heaven. Here are some tips I picked up: Prep like a pro: • Always clean anything below the waterline • Cut stems at a slant to maximize water absorption • For woodier stems, split the ends after cutting Build your base: • Start with greenery—it supports your flowers and sets the shape • Add structural flowers next (like lilac) to create form • Keep greenery shorter than your blooms Star of the show: • Place your main flower (peony!) front and center • Add a garden rose slightly lower—it’s the supporting actress • Tuck in another rose behind and one underneath the peony for a color pop Add softness and texture: • Carnations go lower, nestled next to the roses • Spray roses fill in gaps with a gentle, airy feel—angle them in • Sweet peas break up the color and add ...
