Sometimes the most meaningful moments happen when you least expect them. That’s exactly what happened to Courtney in 2015. She had signed up for a Birthright Israel trip—mostly excited about her post-trip travels through Europe. But as the plane descended and Tel Aviv came into view, something shifted. It felt like coming home. A few days in, while hiking Masada, she started talking to Shachar. Mid-conversation, they discovered something wild—they were born on the exact same day, in the same year.
