This post is dedicated to young Giovanna, who, with imagination and dedication, dreamt of fighting for gender equity at the United Nations her whole life. We have been together on this journey for so long! We are part of Girl Up, Global Fund for Women, Women Deliver, We Are Purposeful, and much more! 2025 is the year where dreams come true. That is why I am ✨honored✨ to be selected as the Young Ambassadors Society (YAS) 🇮🇹 Delegate to the 69th Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) in New York City in March. YAS has the goal of empowering young people, offering them opportunities to make an impact and join official global policy making processes. The CSW is the United Nations’ primary intergovernmental body dedicated to advancing gender equality, women’s rights, and empowerment.
