Jury selection began Monday in the capital murder trial of Michael Davis, one of two men accused in the shooting death of 23-year-old Jamea Harris. The incident occurred in January 2023 near the Tuscaloosa Strip, a popular area near the University of Alabama. Davis is believed to have fired the fatal shot that killed Harris, while Darius Miles, a former UA basketball player, is accused of providing the gun used in the shooting.
