A man was seen swinging a metal bat and blocking traffic as his minivan burned in the middle of Century Blvd near Figueroa St. Video shows him stopping a bystander from using a fire extinguisher, letting the fire grow while striking the van with the bat. LAFD arrived to put out the flames as LAPD took the man into custody. It appears he intentionally set the vehicle on fire.
