#JSUGrad25: "Since I was 7, I always dreamed of attending Jackson State University. In 2022, I proudly earned my bachelor's in social work. Soon after, I secured a job in my field and welcomed my daughter into the world. The desire to earn my master's degree was driven by my passion and the challenge of juggling responsibilities as a full-time student, employee and mother. I wanted to further my education while setting an example for my daughter that, despite life's challenges, dreams can always be pursued boldly. Earning my Master of Social Work degree was a monumental moment, and it led to my employment at Jackson State University in the Division of Institutional Advancement.
