Meet the Winner: Hadi Abidi! Congratulations to Hadi Abidi, a second-year Nursing student at Malcolm X College, who was selected as the winner of a statewide design contest celebrating the theme “Unity of Voice” and “Stronger Together.” “I’m honored and grateful to be selected among what I’m sure were other great entries,” Hadi shared. “We were all given the opportunity to have a voice in the logo, and having us compete served as a way for steel to sharpen steel.” Hadi’s winning design will represent Illinois community colleges across the state—flying as a shared flag of strength, unity, and student vision. After graduating from Malcolm X College, Hadi plans to continue his nursing education at UIC.
