This team always put in great effort at practice. Low and behold they ended up winning their conference championship and defeated Navy in the first round of the NCAA Women's soccer tournament. They epitomized the meaning of put in that work. In sports there are people who are naturally talented. BUT we all know what they say about hard work and talent. You can tell which athletes put in work. Not just because they are good but by their actions in the little things. The first one to jump on a task when the coach asks, that player that is shagging a foul ball the moment it is hit, a player that hustles while everyone else is walking, that player who is setting up equipment while the team is putting their shoes on.
