The abundance of leadership opportunities and practical experiences that I was offered, even as early as my second semester, have been vital in my development as an educator. These opportunities come thanks to the heavy student involvement in organizations on campus, especially the band program. Thanks to these experiences, I’m confident in taking on the next stage in my career. I have accepted the position of band director at a local middle school and will start this upcoming school year.
