With the undefeated CHS Tennis team celebrating a Senior Night victory over St. Joe’s tonight as it readies for this weekend’s All-Catholic Championships, here’s a special look at those pursuing excellence every day behind the Blue Doors and for longtime excellent coach Steve Joyce. Canisius moved to 7-0 in league competition following Tuesday’s 3-2 victory which displayed the Crusaders’ depth. CHS has back-to-back matches with Nichols scheduled for this week (at Nichols Wednesday, home at Delaware Park’s McMillan Courts Thursday) before the league championships on Saturday and Sunday at Chestnut Ridge Park in Orchard Park. Last year, Henry Richards ’24 and Connor Jackson ’26 won the Monsignor Martin doubles championship.
