Urban Ore Workers Union, or UOW, is part of the Industrial Workers of the World and represented by the Industrial Union 670 local chapter. Formed in 2023, UOW alleges that in the two years since its founding, Urban Ore’s owners have engaged in bad-faith bargaining on their reforms. According to Daniel Salazar, operations manager at Urban Ore, there were nine workers who were actively picketing.
