On April 2, the Arkansas Senate passed Senate Bill 536 (SB 536), which is now headed to the House for consideration THIS MONDAY, April 7. SB 536 eliminates the Arkansas State Library and its essential services for local libraries and could cause Arkansas libraries to lose critical support and resources.
